Slotervaart Primary Care Center accommodates more than 20 different health care providers such as physiotherapists, general practitioners and a pharmacy, as well as the ability to collaborate with each other. In the welcoming entrance with a homey atmosphere, you can wait for your appointment while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea or something sweet.

Het Slotervaart: a future-proof transformation

Zadelhoff is leading the ambitious renovation of the former Slotervaart hospital. Our objective is to transform this historic site into a versatile, future-proof space. 'Het Slotervaart' represents a blend of living, working, healthcare, and social interaction, setting a new benchmark in urban development.

Since 2022, we have welcomed various care-related organizations. The crowning achievement of our project is set to be the completion of spectacular Rooftop Offices in late 2024, further solidifying the building's status as a progressive city icon.

The Slotervaart is a social project made possible by Zadelhoff. This social character reflects the structure of Zadelhoff, which is largely owned by charitable foundations with ANBI status. These charitable foundations focus on the preservation of buildings which have a major social or cultural function and provide financial support to projects in social areas such as education, health, art and culture, nature and environment, sports and recreation.

The rich history of Het Slotervaart

The story of Het Slotervaart, formerly known as the Slotervaart hospital, is one of evolution. It began in 1971 with Queen Juliana's inaugural ceremony. Since then, Het Slotervaart has navigated through significant historical milestones. From its privatization in 2006 to entering a new phase of ownership in 2020, each period has uniquely contributed to its present character.
